“First off, I want you all to know how very proud I am of you.  You mean so much to me and you have made my last year here as your Drum Major so amazing.  You have worked so hard and proved that you can do anything you set your mind on.  I can’t explain how it felt to lead you on to the field for each home game and competition, or how excited I was to collect all of our awards, and how amazing it was to have everyone come up to me and tell me how wonderful you all are.  I believe that next year you guys will be just as great, and even better, if you work as hard as you did this year.  And I will be the one in the stands cheering the loudest for you all!!!”
